ABOUT PETER TAGTGREN
Swedish singer and multi-instrumentalist who is best recognized for being the lead vocalist and main songwriter of the death metal group Hypocrisy. He is also recognized for being the owner of The Abyss recording studio.
His first learned to play the drums at the age of nine. His first band was Conquest but later he emigrated to the United States where he played with Malevolent Creation. After moving back to Sweden, he formed Hypocrisy.
He is also known for his work as a producer and has received credits of several albums from Immortal, Sabaton, and Children of Bodom.
He was born and raised in Dalarna County, Sweden and was married twice.
He is known for having founded the industrial metal band Lindemann with fellow metal singer Till Lindemann .
