ABOUT PIPPO FRANCO

Actor who became a legend within the Italian film subgenre known as commedia sexy all'italiana. Some of the films for which he is best known include Quel Gran Pezzo Dell'Ubalda Tutta Nuda e Tutta Calda (1972) and Il Tifoso, L'arbitro e Il Calciatore (1983).

He got his start as a singer and guitarist in the late 50s, performing in bands like  The Penguins.

He has co-written several children's books, including Non Prenda Niente Tre Volte al Giorno (2003) and L'occasione Fa L'uomo Ragno (2007).

He married Piera Bassino.

He was directed by Billy Wilder in the Italian-American comedy Avanti! (1972).
