Her first on screen role was as Dayana in the TV series Reina de Corazones in 2008.

She has presented as a speaker at the TEDx Talks where she discussed creativity, human rights, and activism. Her talk was called The Power of Fiction. She has worked as an intimacy coordinator in Hollywood.

Her daughter Gala Rasquin Maduro is an actress.

She acted alongside actress Yuliet Cruz in the 2010 film Habana Eva.
