ABOUT RACHEL JOHN
British actress, entertainer, performer, and artist who is best known for her work in musical theater, especially in the role of Angelica Schuyler in Hamilton in the West End.
She graduated from the University of Roehampton. She made her West End debut in the year 2005 in The Lion King as a swing and understudy.
She has been nominated for an Olivier Award and a Black British Theatre Award. John joined the cast of Girl From the North Country in the year 2019, when the show moved to the Gielgud Theatre for a limited eight-week run. She played the character of Mrs. Nielsen in the show.
Her mother has appeared on her Instagram account. She has a sister named Patrice McDonald.
In March of 2022, she released a gospel album titled "From My Lips to God's Ear," which was produced by Ramin Karimloo 's label, Mercy Productions.
