ABOUT RAEGAN BUTCHER
American poet, author, musician, and anarchist who became known for Stone Hotel, Rusty String Quartet, and other works. Also a singer, he released a punk rock album entitled Pale & Skinny: 1986-1992 in 2008.
He spent eight years in prison on robbery charges and wrote his first collection of poetry while serving time.
He appeared in The Year Of My Japanese Cousin, a 1995 independent film produced in Seattle, Washington.
He was born in Seattle and raised in Snohomish, Washington.
He was influenced by the work of Charles Bukowski .
