ABOUT RAMóN ALEXANDER HURTADO
Painter and illustrator who is best known for his landscape and genre paintings in a contemporary style. His work has been featured in a variety of galleries and often explore themes of different groups and experiences in outdoor settings.
With a passion for art early on, he debuted in his first show in 2012 at the LAAFA Gallery at Bergamot Station in Santa Monica. The following year he had works featured in the National Cowboy Museum and in 2014 he made his first appearance at the LA Art Show at the California Art Club Booth.
In addition to his work as an artist he is also a teacher and offers lessons both in his private studio and classes at the Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art.
He was born and raised in Tijuana, Mexico before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career as an artist. He often posts pictures of his cats to Instagram.
