ABOUT RAQUEL BELL

First known as a soap opera star, she had recurring roles in Days of Our Lives and The Young and the Restless . She would then go on to appear in Catherine, Shameless , Code Black, and numerous other shows.

A model in high school, she would go on to earn a degree in theatre arts from the University of Texas at Arlington.

In 2009, she made her feature film debut with a small role in I Love You, Man .

Her father, Frederick, was a soldier and war veteran, and her mother, Elizabeth Ann, was native to the UK.

In 2012, she joined Eddie Murphy and Kerry Washington in the comedy film A Thousand Words.
