ABOUT RAY WILLIAMS
Former point guard who played in the NBA from 1977 to 1987 for the New York Knicks, New Jersey Nets, Kansas City Kings, Boston Celtics, Atlanta Hawks, and San Antonio Spurs.
He played basketball at Mount Vernon High School in New York and led the team to two state championships.
He played college basketball at the University of Minnesota, averaging 18.9 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.
His brother Gus Williams also played in the NBA.
He played alongside the legendary Larry Bird on the Celtics.
