Japanese actress and J-Pop singer who starred as Mei/Ptera Ranger in the series KyÅryÅ« Sentai Zyuranger in 1992, and became member of the music group Aurora Gonin Musume.
She was raised in Fukushima Prefecture and started her career as a model in 1991.
She became a spokesperson in 2011 for Kokoro no Mimi, a mental health website after admitting she suffered from depression.
She married Tetsuhito Kirihara in 1998.
