ABOUT REN MEGURO

Japanese pop idol and actor who stars as a member of the Johnny & Associates pop idol group Snow Man. He co-starred in the television live action adaptation of My Love Mix-Up! in 2021 and later portrayed leading roles in films such as Mr. Osomatsu, Phases of the Moon, and As Long as We Both Shall Live.

He officially signed with Johnny & Associates in 2010 and was cast in the pre-debut unit Uchuu Six in 2016. He was added to Snow Man in the year 2019 and announced his withdrawal from Uchuu Six subsequent to Snow Man's 2020 debut.

He won 2023 Newcomer of the Year at the 46th Japan Academy Film Prizes for his performance in Phases of the Moon. That same year, he also won Best New Actor from the 96th Kinema Junpo Awards for his performance in Mr. Osomatsu.

He has 1 younger brother.

He co-starred with Shunsuke Michieda in My Love Mix-Up! He also co-starred with model Mio Imada in As Long as We Both Shall Live.
