Midfielder who helped lead Brazil to victory at the 2016 Summer Olympics. Additionally, he has won multiple titles at the club level with squads like Clube de Regatas do Flamengo and Sport Club Corinthians Paulista.
He came up through Flamengo's youth academy, where he was hailed as one of the organizations best youth players in modern times.
He was named as the best player in Campeonato Brasileiro Série A in 2015.
His first child was born in January 2018.
He won Olympic gold alongside Brazilian teammate Marquinhos .
