ABOUT RENE NAUFAHU
Actor, screenwriter and director who was an original cast member of the New Zealand soap opera Shortland Street . He has played characters in the Power Rangers franchise, including series Power Rangers Samurai and Power Rangers Super Megaforce. In September 2017, he pleaded guilty in Auckland's District Court to six charges of indecent assault against women who attended his private acting lessons. He was sentenced to one year of home detention.
In 1997, he appeared in the series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.
He had small roles in films including The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions . He was in series like All Saints , Water Rats, SeaChange and Tales of the South Seas. He directed episodes of the series The Market. Collectively, he has earned over two dozen credits for his appearances in various films and TV series'.
He has Tongan heritage.
He was in the series Always Greener, which starred Michala Banas and Anne Tenney.
