Fashion illustrator whose impressionistic renderings of menswear have brought him universal acclaim and led to collaborations with the likes of GQ and The New York Times. Prior to his illustration career, he was a fashion designer and creative director for Nautica.
He went to Catholic school and originally wanted to become a priest. He moved to New York City in the 70s.
He runs a popular blog called What I Saw Today, where he draws the latest trends in New York menswear.
He has an adopted daughter named Jitan. He was married to two different women before coming out as gay.
He has worked for Sean Combs ' Sean John label.
