Played the role of the bumbling father Nathan in Channel 4's drama Sugar Rush. He was cast as the character Tony in series 2 of the CBBC children's sitcom Millie Inbetween.
His first acting role was in Roy Clarke's sitcom, First of the Summer Wine.
He starred in several BBC productions and on stage in adaptions of Shakespeare's works.
He has two children with wife and actress, Sophie Thompson .
Both he and the actor, Charlie Brooks were on the popular BBC soap opera, EastEnders.
