Canadian actor who has gained fame for his roles in the TV movie Freaky Friday and the medical drama television series The Good Doctor .

He studied psychology at the University of British Columbia but left before graduating to pursue acting. He claimed in an interview that he was inspired to pursue a career in entertainment after attending a John Legend concert.

In 2018, he was nominated for a Leo Award for his performance in the TV movie Christmas Solo.

His parents emigrated from China in the 1990s.

He worked alongside Nicholas D'agosto on several episodes of the sitcom Trial & Error.
