He started his acting career in 2006 when he appeared in a four episode mini-series called Miracle.
He portrayed Dr. John Heron in the 2010 period drama Jejungwon.
He married Ryu Seung-joo in 2009 and has three children.
He and Eric Stonestreet are Kansas State University alumni.
