ABOUT ROBERT CULLEN

Soccer player best known as a striker for teams like Jubilo Iwata in J-League. He began playing for the Japanese national team in 2003 and and played for the team at the 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship.

He was born in Tsuchiura, Japan and began his youth career with Kashiwa Reysol in 1998.

He was named J-League Rookie of the Year in 2005.

His mother is Japanese and his father is Northern Irish.

He and Yuichi Komano have both played for Jubilo Iwata during their careers.
