His interest in music dates back to the age of 2, when he attempted to teach himself the mandolin.

He went viral on TikTok for his cover of the song, "This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race."

He comes from a musical family. His father played traditional Irish music with local bands, and his mother and two siblings also sang. His wife's name is Corrine, and they share a daughter named Bonnie and a son named Lincoln.

In 2020, he performed on The Late Late Show , hosted by James Corden .
