ABOUT ROBERT J. HOGAN

American actor who made a career of being a successful recurring cast member on series such as As the World Turns, Days of Our Lives, General Hospital, and Peyton Place.

Starting as a theater actor, he made his first professional appearance in the off-Broadway play Call Me By My Rightful Name. He then moved to Los Angeles and quickly landed a couple of guest spots on the shows 77 Sunset Strip and Cheyenne.

He had a character named after him in Hogan's Heroes. Bob Crane played Air Force colonel Robert Hogan in the show.

He was born in New York City.

He played Louis Sobotka in The Wire in 2003, alongside Idris Elba .
