ABOUT ROBERT LUDLUM
A bestselling American novelist, he published numerous thrillers and saw more than 300 million copies of his books in print during his lifetime. His most famous works include The Bourne Identity, The Matlock Paper, and The Icarus Agenda.
He was a Marine, an actor, and a producer before becoming a writer. He published his first novel, The Scarlatti Inheritance, in 1971.
His works have been published in 33 languages and 40 countries.
He was born in New York City to Margaret Wadsworth and George Hartford Ludlum. His second wife was Karen Dunn.
He wrote The Bourne Trilogy, which later became a film starring Matt Damon .
