ABOUT ROBERT MATHIS

NFL linebacker who was selected in the fifth round of the 2003 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts and became one of the team's top defensive assets.

He played college football at Alabama A&M University.

He helped lead the Colts to victory in Super Bowl XLI over the Chicago Bears.

His parents raised him in Atlanta, Georgia, where he would graduate from McNair High School.

He and Edgerrin James were teammates on the Colts.
