Grandfather of Olympic gymnast Simone Biles , who became one of the most decorated gymnasts in U.S. history. Snoop Dogg famously gifted him a Death Row Records chain for his 75th birthday.
He adopted Simone at the age of 6 in 2001. The gymnast considers him to be her father.
His daughter Shannon Biles is Simone's biological mom who struggled with drug and alcohol abuse.
He married Nellie Biles , whom he met while attending college in San Antonio.
He also raised Simone's younger sister Adria .
