He played football for Texas Christian University .

In 2017 he was awarded the Big 12 Defensive Freshman of the Year award.

He was born in Missouri City, Texas. His father Jimmy played for the Harlem Globetrotters.

He and DeAndre Hopkins have both played for the Texans.
