ABOUT ROSS CLARK
Known for collections such as With Fires on Every Horizon and Salt Flung into the Sky, this haiku poet received numerous honors, including the Australian Book Review's Poetry Prize and the Australian government's Centenary Medal.
After studying at the University of Queensland, he spent more than ten years teaching at schools in rural Australia. His debut poetry book, Chameleon: Triprych 1-33, was published in 1982.
He taught poetry writing classes at the Queensland University of Technology.
He was born and raised in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia.
He and Les Murray both became prominent Australian poets.
