ABOUT ROY LOPEZ

NFL defensive tackle that was drafted by the Houston Texans as a sixth round pick in 2021. He joined the Arizona Cardinals in 2023. Prior to being drafted, he played college football at the University of Arizona .

He initially began his college career at New Mexico State University . After three years, he then transferred to Arizona.

He made his official NFL debut playing against the Jacksonville Jaguars during week one of the 2022 regular season. He and the Texans won the game 37-21.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Tempe, Arizona. He is born of Mexican and American descent.

He collected his first NFL sack on Jacoby Brissett .
