ABOUT ROYA NOWNAHALI

Actress who has achieved great popularity and acclaim in Iran with her performances in such films as Fasl-e Panjom (1997), Booye Kafoor, Atre Yas (2000) and Niloofar (2008).

She studied painting growing up and began acting in theater in 1984.

She won the Crystal Simorgh for Best Actress in 1989.

She married Ramin Heydari.

She and Leila Hatami appeared together in the drama Tale of the Sea (2018).
