Soccer player who has competed for such clubs as Sporting CP, Vitória FC and Villarreal CF. In February 2018, he was arrested and charged with robbery, kidnapping and attempted murder, among other charges.

He grew up in the Casal da Mira region of Portugal.

He won the Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira title with Sporting CP in 2015.

His parents are from Cape Verde. He has a daughter named Estela.

He was teammates with Sergio Asenjo Villarreal CF.
