Italian-Venezuelan singer-songwriter and producer who is known for songs like "Por Qué Será" and "El Cariño Es Como Una Flor." Both songs topped the Billboard Top Latin Songs chart. He has a popular YouTube channel RudyLaScalaOficial, which has garnered 390,000 subscribers.

When he was 15, he founded a rock band called Las Explosiones de Goma. His solo career began in 1971, and he initially made music under the name Flavio. In 1974, he decided to change his name to Rudy La Scala.

He sang both the opening and ending theme songs of the Venezuelan soap opera Cristal. His career has included 12 platinum and nine gold certified albums. On his channel, he has mainly posted official music videos, clips of his live performances, and interview clips.

He was born in Lazio, Italy. During his childhood, he migrated to Venezuela. He has been married to his wife.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated with numerous artists including Guillermo Dávila , Karina , and María Conchita Alonso .
