ABOUT RYAN ALEXANDER HOLMES

Notable film and television actor, performer, artist, and entertainer who is most recognized by his role as a Blaze in the 2023 comedy film Back on the Strip, which also starred Wesley Snipes and Tiffany Haddish . He has also gained recognition from his roles in the film Smile or Hug and Dear White People .

He is a graduate of the Loyola High School of Los Angeles. He later enrolled into UC Berkeley before eventually receiving his master's from the University of Southern California .

He received his very first acting role in the ABC drama series For the People as the character Simon. Unfortunately, he only starred in one episode of the show. Besides acting, he also has a passion for screenwriting.

Growing up, he lived with his family in Los Angeles, California. He was born of Chinese and African-American descent.

He starred alongside Logan Browning in the award-winning Netflix series Dear White People.
