ABOUT RYAN CAYABYAB

Composer, singer, and TV personality known for his time as Executive and Artistic Director of the San Miguel Foundation for the Performing Arts. He also served as a judge of Philippine Idol.

He attended the University of the Philippines to study business. While at school, he worked for a Philippine senator, who provided him with a scholarship to pursue a music degree.

He spent almost 20 years teaching music at the University of the Philippines before embarking on a music career. In 2013, he received the Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice from Pope Francis .

After their mother died when he was six, he and his three siblings were raised by their father. He has two children with Emmy Punsalan.

Throughout his career, he's performed for several world leaders including King Juan Carlos I of Spain and Bill Clinton .
