ABOUT RYAN KALKBRENNER

Former NCAA All-American that played college basketball at Creighton University from 2020 until 2025. While at Creighton, he was twice named a member of the first team All-Big Ten. He was eventually selected by the Charlotte Hornets as a second round pick in the 2025 NBA Draft.

As a senior in high school, he was considered a four-star prospect. He is a graduate of Trinity Catholic High School.

He finished his college career as the Big East all-time leader in blocks, games played and made baskets. He's also Creighton's second all-time leader in points and rebounds.

He and his wife, Rachael, got married in the year of 2024. They both met as students at Creighton.

He was coached by Doug McDermott 's father Greg while at Creighton.
