Season 7 contestant on The Voice who was a part of Gwen Stefani 's team. He was eliminated just before the finals.
He studied engineering at James Madison University. While there, he performed with an a cappella group that released a viral cover of "Titanium."
He had performed with choirs and groups in the past, but The Voice was his first time performing as a solo artist.
He was born in Sterling, Virginia to a mother, Linda, who was an opera singer and also gave vocal lessons. Both of his sisters also sing.
He got Stefani and Blake Shelton to turn their chairs when he sang OneRepublic 's "Secrets."
