ABOUT SACHIN BHOWMICK
Screenwriter of Hindi films and a major contributor to Bengali cinema magazine Ultorath.
His first screenplay was for the film Lajwanti in 1958.
He was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Story in two consecutive years: in 1969 for Aradhana, and in 1970 for Pehchan.
He was married to actress Aradhana, though they eventually divorced.
He wrote screenplays for films directed by Subhash Ghai .
