Actress who is most famous for her recurring roles on television shows, including Dragon Zakura, Nodame Kantâbire and Hotelier. She has appeared in feature films like the drama Closed Diary and the comedy Wrestling with a Memory.

She graduated from Horikoshi High School and later attended Waseda University.

She served as the emcee of the talk show Chô Saigen! Mystery in 2012.

She was married to baseball pitcher Yu Darvish from 2007 to 2012. She has two sons with Darvish.

She co-starred with Eita on the show Nodame Kantâbire.
