He started off in law school but ended up recording with Radio Sarajevo and performing live internationally.

He is the winner of a Yugoslavian Golden Microphone Award.

He raised a son named Benjamin.

Isovic has performed at the Sydney Opera House in Australia, as has Gay Kayler .
