ABOUT SAFWAT SALEEM
Graphic designer and multimedia artist who is famous for his satirical and political designs. He rose to widespread popularity for his TED talk "Why I keep speaking up, even when people mock my accent", and subsequently became a TED Senior Fellow.
He worked in the music industry prior to his switch to graphic design. He founded the Pakistani music magazine Bandbaja.
He has gained more than 30,000 followers to his safwtf Instagram account. He has had his art featured in Wired, BoingBoing and Brainpickings.
He was originally born and raised in Pakistan.
He and Jennet Liaw are both popular graphic designers who have gained fame for their TED talks.
