Rose to fame for her role as Alya Nazir on the popular British soap opera Coronation Street . Previously, she had appeared in a 2011 episode of Doctors . She'd later appear in I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here in 2018.

Before beginning her acting career, she worked in the sales department of a London bank.

She was nominated for a 2015 National Television Award for "Best Newcomer."

She spent her childhood in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England.

Her Coronation Street character is the daughter of the character played by Jimi Mistry .
