Singer-songwriter, philanthropist, and activist who belonged to the indie musical group The Slip.
She attended Tabor Academy, a boarding school in Massachusetts.
She founded the charity Tranquility Project to help victims of Southeast Asian land mines.
She is the daughter of legendary singer-songwriters Carly Simon and James Taylor , both of whom mentioned her in their albums. She married Dean Bragonier with whom she had a son in 2007. Her brother Ben also became a musician.
She and singer Dolores Hope both carried out philanthropic projects.
