Striker and winger known for his goal-scoring ability, leading the Chilean Primera Division and Mexican Primera Division in scoring during his career.

He played youth soccer for Club 12 de Octubre.

In 2007, he was the Paraguayan Footballer of the Year.

He was born in Asuncion, Paraguay.

Center back Antolin Alcaraz was his teammate on Paraguay's national team.
