Sam Coffey
ABOUT SAM COFFEY
American midfielder and athlete who rose to fame during her years at Boston College and Penn State University . She began her senior career with Portland Thorns FC in the year 2022. At the international level, she represented the United States at the 2022 CONCACAF W Championship.
She was team MVP for all four of her years at the Masters School.
She was the NWSL Rookie of the Month for June of 2022. She has earned representation from A&V Sports. In June of 2022, Coffey earned her first call-up to the United States women's national team for two friendlies against Colombia.
Her father, Wayne Coffey, was featured in a series of photos posted to her sscofff Instagram account on June 18, 2023.
She became Becky Sauerbrunn 's teammate upon joining Portland Thorns FC.
