ABOUT SAM FAULKNER
Dancer and actor who made his television debut in NBC's Hairspray Live! in December 2016 as IQ. He had previously gained renown as the 74th actor to portray the title role in the musical Billy Elliot in a regional production in Maine in 2014.
His desire to pursue acting came at age 11 upon seeing the Broadway production of Billy Elliot.
In 2014, he was crowned the Dance Masters of Carolina's Mr. Teen Dance. He performed at the Chicago 2011 Thanksgiving Day Parade as Ralphie from A Christmas Story: The Musical.
He was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina.
He performed alongside Harvey Fierstein in NBC's 2016 Hairspray Live! musical event.
