ABOUT SAM FRANCE

American singer best known as one half of the indie rock duo Foxygen, who won international acclaim for their 2013 debut We Are the 21st Century Ambassadors of Peace & Magic. He is known to fans for his frenzied, often unhinged stage presence.

He began performing experimental music with Foxygen bandmate Jonathan Rado at age 15.

He is an occasional actor who has been seen in films like Corpus Callosum (2007) and Buffalo Son (2009).

He previously dated Foxygen touring member Elizabeth le Fey.

His band's 2017 album Hang featured contributions from Steven Drozd of The Flaming Lips.
