ABOUT SAM LEE

Most well known for his portrayal of Sha Jang in the TV series The Monkey King: Quest for the Sutra, he is also notable for his appearances in films such as Bio Zombie (1998), Fist Power (2000), and Ping Pong (2002). In the year 1999 alone, he appeared in over a dozen films, including Believe It or Not; Gen-X Cops; and Wan Chai Express.

He made his cinematic debut in the 1997 feature Made in Hong Kong, winning a Hong Kong Film Award for his performance.

Aside from his acting career, he served as the lead rapper for a Hong Kong band called LMF and performed separately under the stage name of DJ Becareful.

He was born and raised in Hong Kong.

Lee began his acting career in the late 1990s after being discovered by director Fruit Chan .
