ABOUT SAMANTHA BRIGGS

English CrossFit athlete who was crowned the winner of the 2013 CrossFit Games. He has also served as the co-owner and head coach of Train Manchester, her own CrossFit affiliate.

She trained in Miami, Florida before moving back to her home country of England. She played soccer in the Northern Premiership League before discovering CrossFit.

She has worked as a firefighter in Manchester City, England.

She has dated graphic designer Jo Cartwright.

She finished second to Annie Thorisdottir at the 2010 Europe Regional.
