Former actress known for her role in the 1980's film Mr. Success. She is the ex-wife of Oscar award-winning actor Tom Hanks .

She and Tom first met while they were attending classes at Sacramento State University.

She made her official television debut in 1981 on the show Bosom Buddies.

Prior to their divorce in 1987, she and Tom had two children together.

Her ex-husband, Tom, worked alongside Steve Carell in the 2007 film Evan Almighty .
