ABOUT SAMANTHA SANG

One of Australia's most popular singers of the 1970s who had hits with "You Made Me What I Am" and "Emotion."

She began singing on Australian radio at age of eight, winning Best Female Vocalist for her first album, which she released when she was fifteen.

At the start of her fame she was working with the Bee Gees in England; six years later she returned to them to make "Emotion," which went to #3 on the national chart.

She was born Cheryl Lau Sang in Melbourne, Australia.

Barry Gibb of the Bee Gees was the first one of the group to hear her sing and urged his manager to sign her.
