ABOUT SAMMI CHENG
Singer and actress often called "The Cantopop Queen" who has sold more than 25 million albums since breaking onto the Hong Kong entertainment scene in the 90's. She is also a respected actress, having been nominated for three Best Actress Awards at the 2002 Hong Kong Film Awards alone.
She first gained national attention through her appearance on the televised singing contest The New Talent Singing Awards as a 16-year-old in 1988.
She is a Hong Kong music industry darling, winning 12 Top Female Vocalist awards from 1993 to 2010.
She has three sisters, two of whom are twins. She also has a brother. She married Andy Chi-On Hui.
She began her film acting career by co-starring with Jacky Cheung in the 1992 action film Best of the Best.
