ABOUT SANDH SOENDHORO

Singer-songwriter otherwise known by the stage name Sandhy Sondoro, he rose to fame in 2009 after winning the International Contest of Young Pop Singer New Wave. He also released his debut album Why Don't We in 2008.

Raised in a musical family, he would often listen to his parents play the guitar. While studying architecture at college in Germany, he joined a band on campus and eventually began busking on his own.

He originally got his musical start busking in Germany and would make his debut there on the late night show TV Total.

He was born in Jakarta, Indonesia to Rr. Rika Pudjihastuti and Achmad Fauzan. He was married to Ade Sechan from 2012 until 2016.

In 2010, Diane Warren invited him to share the stage with Cher , Patti Austin , and numerous other legendary stars to perform with PBS at the Palladium Theatre.
