ABOUT SARAH ALLEN
Actress known for playing vampire Rebecca Flynt on the SyFy series Being Human. She also played Sandy Conner in the television series Remedy and Catherine Lariviere in the Bravo series 19-2. She has appeared in films including The Husband (2013), On the Road (2012), and Secret Window .
She studied acting at Canada's National Theatre School in Montreal, Quebec. She graduated in 2002.
To prepare for playing a vampire, she watched the original BBC version of the series and researched vampire mythology. She said having to drink fake blood on the series was like "drinking a tube of toothpaste."
She was born in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada.
Her costars in Being Human included Meaghan Rath and Kristen Hager .
