German songstress who made a name for herself competing on the eighth season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar. After she was eliminated from the top ten, she would return to the show in its ninth season, becoming a runner-up.

She first auditioned for the seventh season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar, but was eliminated during her duet with Eugen Flittner.

In 2011, she released her debut solo album Heartbeat which peaked at #2 on the German charts after its release.

She married fellow singer Pietro Lombardi in 2013. Two years later, they had their son, Alessio. However, the couple announced they were separating in 2016. She later married soccer player Julian Felix Engels .

She competed on the ninth season of Deutschland sucht den Superstar, a season won by Luca Hanni .
